Where is Weaselhead?

Weaselhead is located in southwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is part of a three park system clustered around the Glenmore Reservoir — the source of drinking water for more than 500,000 Albertans.

Weaselhead is a Natural Environment Park that is afforded the highest level of protection our city can offer. North Glenmore Park and South Glenmore Park are manicured parks with much lower levels of protection.

Parking lots can be found at both north and south entrances to the park. The main parking lot is located at the main entrance to the park at the corner of 37 St SW and 66 Ave SW. The south entrance is considered a “back door” and is located at the western terminus of 90 Ave SW.

All three parks are open from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. all year round. However, all Calgary parks are occasionally closed for emergencies like floods or fires. So please contact the city of Calgary parks department for information if access appears to be in doubt.
